Quoc Tri: choosing cloth and being measured in the showroom

From his everyday blazer and T-shirt to a suit cut to his own measurements: Quoc Tri chose his cloth and was measured with a Mon Amie stylist in the showroom.

01

The need

Quoc Tri came to a Mon Amie showroom for a suit made to his own measurements. What he wore that day, a dark blazer over a white T-shirt, spoke of a relaxed way of dressing, and that was where the conversation began.

02

The brief

Cloth and colour were chosen from the swatch books on the spot; alongside the darker shades he knew, he looked at lighter beige cloths too. Budget and timing are the client's own business, and we do not publish them.

03

Our approach

The stylist went through the swatch books and the lookbook with him to picture the suit, then measured him over his T-shirt, shoulders, chest, sleeve and jacket length, with an assistant recording the figures. The tailor also measured over his jacket at the mirror to compare shoulder and length.

04

The result

The photographs follow the whole session: the cloth table, the measuring, the mirror and a group photo with the Mon Amie team.
