How it works
From your measuring tape to their door
The 14-day clock starts when Mon Amie approves the measurements — not when you take them — so a question about a number never eats into your delivery date.
Day −1
You meet, advise and measure
Show the lookbook and fabric book, agree the price tier and style. Take 24 measurements, 4 photos and a 10-second video. Collect payment, place the order on the portal.
Day 0
Saigon approves the measurements
Our International Desk checks every sheet against the photos within 24 hours and asks if anything looks off. No fabric is cut before approval. The 14-day clock starts here.
Day 1–2
Pattern and cutting
Your client's 55-field pattern sheet goes to the cutter. Stocked fabrics are cut immediately; ordered cloths (Vercelli, Canonico, Scabal) are scheduled and flagged before you commit.
Day 3–8
Sewing in the International Line
A dedicated team of 4–6 tailors sews only partner orders, so timing and hand stay consistent. First-time or difficult-figure clients get a trial garment first.
Day 9
Quality check, finished measurements, photos
Checked against our list; finished measurements recorded within tolerance (±1 cm chest and waist, ±0.5 cm sleeve and length). Six photos sent to you before packing.
Day 10
Packed and shipped
Rigid Mon Amie box, garment bag, English warranty card, a thank-you note with your client's name. DHL/FedEx Express with tracking, HS code 6203, DAP terms.
Day 13–14
Delivered. You fit.
Book a fitting within 3 days of delivery. Upload the after-photos. Small alterations locally; anything larger comes back to us on our account.
Standard delivery 14 days. Express 10 days at +25%. Trial garment for a new client adds about 10 days. The workshop closes around 10 days for Lunar New Year (early February) — announced 45 days ahead on the portal.

The workshop
Cut in Saigon since 1991
Mon Amie began as Hoàng Vy, a tailor's shop opened in Saigon's District 5 in 1991 by master tailors from Huế. The Mon Amie name followed in 2011. Today there are five showrooms in Ho Chi Minh City — the flagship inside the Caravelle Hotel — and a 1,000 m² workshop with more than 80 tailors.
The same workshop makes suits for business owners and grooms across the city and bespoke uniforms for more than 500 companies a year. International clients already account for a growing share of our orders, with a higher average spend than local ones.
Every partner order is sewn by a dedicated International Line, checked against a written standard, measured after finishing and photographed before it leaves the building.

Questions
What partners ask before they sign
How do you guarantee the fit when the client is thousands of kilometres away?+
Three layers. First, a measuring method you are trained and tested on: 24 measurements, 4 photos, a short video, and a try-on jacket where possible. Second, every sheet is reviewed by our International Desk within 24 hours and nothing is cut before approval. Third, a written alteration and remake policy: our errors are remade free, small local alterations are refunded up to USD 50, and your first orders carry learner's insurance.
What if the suit still doesn't fit?+
If the finished garment is outside tolerance or differs from the approved sheet, we remake or alter it at our cost, shipping included, on priority. If the sheet you sent was wrong and the photos could not reveal it, we remake at 50% of partner price — free within your learner's insurance. If the client changes their mind, we quote a new suit or alteration.
How long does delivery take?+
14 days from measurement approval to your client's door, by DHL or FedEx Express. Express service delivers in 10 days at +25%. A trial garment for a first-time client adds about 10 days.
Who pays duties and taxes?+
Shipments are DAP: Mon Amie pays the freight to the address; duties and taxes are charged to the receiver at delivery or prepaid by you. We publish an estimate per country so you can build it into your retail price.
How do I pay Mon Amie?+
In USD, 100% at order, by card (Stripe), Wise Business, Payoneer or bank transfer. Group orders above USD 3,000 can be split 50/50. No order enters the workshop before payment.
Do I need premises?+
No. Agents work from home, at the client's office or by video call. Studio and Exclusive partners usually have a space, but it can be a shared showroom or a hotel suite on trunk-show days.
Is there a minimum?+
From the fourth month: 3 suits a month for Agents, 8 for Studios, 20 for Exclusive partners, averaged over a quarter. The first three months have no minimum.
Can I use my own brand instead of Mon Amie?+
The program is built around the Mon Amie name because it gives you 35 years of story, imagery and trust on day one. White-label supply is considered for Exclusive partners and established online brands, case by case.
What training do I get?+
A 14-day online course on Mon Amie Academy — product, fabric, measuring, selling, aftercare — plus live sessions with our master tailor. You take a measuring test before your first real order, and our specialist joins your first measurement by video.
What is the warranty for my client?+
12 months on seams, buttons and canvas. Free re-fitting for a 3–5 kg weight change within 12 months (client pays return freight if the suit comes back to us). After 12 months, alterations at the published rates.
What happens to my clients' data?+
Measurements, photos and contacts live in Mon Amie's system. You see only your own clients. We follow the data-protection rules of your country and delete records on request.
