The need
Hosting calls for well-kept suits across very different occasions, from formal events to entertainment stages. Mon Amie's 2023 feature on the artists we dress names him as someone who consistently chooses Mon Amie for his suits.

The brief
In the session we photographed, he arrived in a navy chalk-stripe double-breasted suit and went through the swatch books with a stylist, laying cloths side by side to compare colour and handle. Budget and timing for each suit stay private, and we do not publish them.

Our approach
The stylist opened the swatch books one by one at the consultation table so he could handle and compare the cloths. He was then measured over his shirt, neck, shoulders and sleeve length, with an assistant writing each figure on the measurement sheet. The figures are kept on file, so the next suit does not start from scratch.

The result
The cream three-piece suit, worn with a patterned tie and pocket square, is one of the outfits Mon Amie made for MC Trung Hau, shown in our feature on the artists we dress.
