  • ✓Colours: classic black, midnight navy, or a bolder evening shade for the groom.

When to wear one

  • ✓Evening weddings and wedding photo sessions.
  • ✓Galas, award ceremonies and black-tie dinners.
  • ✓MCs, performers and anyone on stage.
  • ✓Anniversary and VIP events where the invitation says black tie.

How we make it

Book a fitting, choose the lapel and cloth, and our tailor takes more than 30 measurements. You try the jacket in person, we adjust the fit, and your measurements are kept for life so the next order is even easier. See our process page for the full five stages.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a tuxedo and a suit?

A tuxedo is evening wear for black-tie events: satin or grosgrain on the lapels (often a shawl or peak lapel), a satin stripe down the trousers, a bow tie and a formal shirt. A suit is made entirely of the same cloth and is worn with a necktie.

How much does a made-to-measure tuxedo cost at Mon Amie?

A two-piece tuxedo is priced by cloth tier, before 8% VAT: Essential: VND 4.8 – 10M · Signature: VND 10 – 20M · Heritage: Above VND 20M. Our stylist confirms the exact price at your fitting.

Can I wear a tuxedo as a wedding suit?

Yes. A black or midnight-navy tuxedo is a classic choice for an evening wedding. Tell us the venue, the time of day and the bride's dress and we will suggest the lapel, colour and shirt.

Does Mon Amie rent tuxedos?

Yes, we rent suits and tuxedos by the occasion at our showrooms; the price is quoted per style and rental period. See the suit rental page for details.
