HOW TO MEASURE FOR A MEN'S SHIRT AND SUIT

If you need to order online, you can also take your own body measurements:

Wear a shirt that you feel most comfortable in, and ask someone to take the measurements.
- Back length:
Let both arms hang straight, and measure from the seam at the base of the collar down to below the seat, in line with the tip of the thumb.

How to take measurements

- Shoulder width:
Lay the tape across the shoulders and measure from one shoulder seam to the other. (For a suit jacket, use your fingers to feel the bone at the shoulder point and measure from one shoulder point to the other)

How to take measurements

- Sleeve length:
Measure from the sleeve seam to the lower edge of the cuff. (For a suit jacket, measure from the shoulder measuring point (shoulder point) to the bone at the back of the hand.) Note: unbutton the shirt cuff so that the sleeve hangs straight down.

How to take measurements

- Chest:
Measure around the fullest part of the chest (usually across the two fullest points of the chest). Note: keep the tape snug against the body without pulling it tight, and keep the tape parallel to the ground.

How to take measurements

- Stomach:
Measure around the stomach at its fullest point. Note: keep the tape snug against the body without pulling it tight, and keep the tape parallel to the ground.

How to take measurements

- Seat:
Measure around the seat at its fullest point. Note: keep the tape snug against the body without pulling it tight, and keep the tape parallel to the ground.

How to take measurements

- Neck:
Measure around the neck snugly. Note: keep one finger between the neck and the tape.
